Taking Care of Business

The MOMS Club® of Eagle River dues are $25 for initial membership and yearly renewal.   You can attend as many or as few events a month as you wish.   Since The MOMS Club® of Eagle River is an IRS registered non-profit group, all money collected is used exclusively for our organization for items like supplies, copies, publicity, speakers but mainly community service projects.  Dues can be paid to The MOMS Club® of Eagle River Treasurer during any membership meeting.  The MOMS Club® of Eagle River understands that having a parent at home often means a tight budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, the prospective member should talk to a Board Member. There are means available to help!!

It's a MOMS Club® principle that stay-at-home mothers should not feel isolated because of childcare considerations.  Children are welcome to attend all activities.  Mothers are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children.

The MOMS Club® of Eagle River utilizes coordinator positions to help create a fun and relaxed environment for our membership.

There were several reasons that went into our decision to do this:

  • To get each member a little more involved  WITHOUT having to give a lot of extra time.

  • To allow other members that have taken on larger roles to cut back on some of the time they spend doing MOMS Club® 'work'.

  • To streamline certain activities and to make them run smoother as well as more efficiently.

We have done a lot of talking amongst ourselves, new and older members, and other clubs throughout the nation researching the way they breakdown opportunities for involvement.

Each job should take NO MORE than 2 - 3 hours a month to complete, if even that much.... some will just be a few calls a month!

As our needs change, we add and subtract positions to suit the Club
